Airport Hotel, Billund

Great hotel with 24-hour reception, free airport shuttle, and luggage storage. The staff once helped me with local info, which I remember fondly. I recommend it for a great stay, and I'll be back for Christmas.

The location is convenient. From the airport you can get to any point of city by public transport. Also the staff is very responsive and advises on any questions you may have. P.S. Even if there has already been an eviction, you will not be driven from the lobby of the hotel, where you can comfortably spend time with a socket at the table or a comfortable sofa, waiting for your flight on the plane. That's very nice, in my opinion.

1) A very strange location in the shower room: practically bordered the toilet and the water from the shower often got on paper. 2. For 4 adults (as the number of themselves positioned in the description) is quite tightly located

The units were a nice size with 4 beds in various layouts. The atmosphere of the hotel is family.

The hotel is new, located 4 minutes walk from the airport, on the left side of the airport. On one side of the hotel there is a free shuttle stop to the airport and parking lots, on the other side there is a free shuttle stop to Legoland and Lalandia (once an hour, schedule - at the reception). Buses to Billund, Legoland and neighbouring cities depart from the airport. Accommodation - via check-in machine, payment by card. There is a room where you can leave things if you need. Breakfast is quite diverse: porridge, pancakes, eggs, cheeses, yogurts, sausages, pastries, apples, oranges, tomatoes and cucumbers, a selection of drinks. If your child is above 150 cm, choose room "4 Adults". They have 4 full-size beds.

You have to be prepared for the fact that with the windows open, you can hear the planes, airport is not very busy, so there is no discomfort. bathroom is small, shower room is separated only by a curtain, so after taking a shower, floor is wet. Malvato towel rails. Shelves would be nice. We'd like to bring some slippers.

The staff was correct. The location was perfect for a weekend in Legoland and Lalandia.

The hotel is suitable for staying for a few days. It was convenient to be near the airport and not far from Legoland. Nearby there is a paid parking lot (you can pay for parking at the hotel) and a bus stop. There was a stunning view of the airport runway, with almost no sound of planes taking off or landing. Good breakfast. Room was cleaned every day, thanks to the hotel staff.

The only thing I'd like to point out is that the attic bed has a low edge. It would be good if it were taller or if it was possible to install an additional protective edge for the safety of the child sleeping there.

Very close to Billund airport : ideal for early morning flights.

Walls very thin so noise I could hear noise from other rooms. But I couldn't hear noise form the airport so the windows must have been thick.

I borrowed a hairdresser at the reception - it was really bad... could not dry anything. Beds are too soft. I do not think this hotel is value for money. I booked rather late and also payed the most expensive price but the hotel is not worth the money. 499kr pr night should be the hotels maximum...

Marvellous location just off the attractions closer to Billund, the buses to travel to other towns and 30 minutes by walk from LEGOLAND and from Billund and Close to airport, efficient check-in. Also, in the area-checking in.

Internet connection was weak.

The airport hotel is super close to the airport, just a 2-minute walk away. The rooms are clean and modern, with nice led mood lighting. I was really impressed with the helpful staff who went out of their way to assist me. The fitness room was great, just a quick jog to warm up before my day.

It was quiet the first night with the wndow closed; but rather noisy on the Saturday night due to being close to the airport. It was warm that night and we had to have the window open. The breakfast was good and the bread warm and delicious.

There were only sandwiches to buy in the evening and none left on Saturday. It was a long walk to the town of Billund and Legoland. We would have appreciated being able to hire bikes or having a shuttle to take us into the town. Also being British, tea making facilities in the room would be welcome. We run a B and B business and provide facilities in the rooms.

Close to the Billund airport

I had requested a non-smoking room in my reservation, but was given a smoking room, which the staff could not/would not change.

Great location near airport, but limited dining options for breakfast.

We liked the staff, the room was cosy,clean linen, good breakfast,proximity to airport, lovely 20 minute walk to Legoland.

Since the hotel is 5 minutes away by foot from the airport, there is nothing available in terms of cafes or stalls. So food has to be eaten at the airport cafes(only two available) and hence not much choice. No lunch or dinner or packed meals are available at the hotel. Also, we did not want an extra bed for our child but, unlike most other hotels in Europe, we were charged 100kr for two nights for a bunk bed put in the room. Very strange. Breakfast for a child under 6 is normally free in Europe. Strangely, the hotel chargred us 50kr.per breakfast for our child as well.

The location was exceptional, with very easy walking access to the airport terminal, and only a mile walk to Legoland. The view we had of the airport was very interesting, yet it was very peaceful so near the airport. The staff were very helpful,explaining the hotel services, and giving useful info about the area.
